Who is current cheif justice of Pakistan

Justice Yahya Afridi is the current & 30th Chief Justice CJ of Pakistan since 26 October 2024. •Yahya Afridi was appointed through parliamentary committee as the new 26th Amendment was implemented. •Parliamentary committee nominated Yahya Afridi. Eight out of 12 members (2/3) was in favour of justice Yahya Afridi. •As per new amendment the selection will be made through 2/3 majority. Introduction; •Born on 23 January 1965 in Kohat. •Appointed as an Additional Judge of the Peshawar High Court in 2010. •He also took the oath as Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court in 2016. •He became the judge in Supreme Court of Pakistan in 2018. Current designation; Justice Yahya Afridi is newly designated honorable cheif justice of Pakistan.
